Coaches Letter:
Dear Football Players and Parents,
The Hill Football coaches are excited to have you on our team this year. We each have over
15 years of coaching experience.
We will teach the fundamentals of football in an environment where safety is our number one concern. We want our players to improve their skills as the season progresses and develop a competitive attitude in a sportsmanship manner. It doesn't matter what experience you have, our goal is to teach you the sport, and develop you into a competitive football player. We want to have fun and of course we want to win!
Before any athlete can participate in practices, a current sports physical, (less than 1 year old), must be on file in the nurse’s office, along with all required paperwork.
As a coaching staff, we have the following expectations of all our athletes:
Athletes should always show proper respect and sportsmanship.
Arrive to practice on time (3:15). Late arrival will result in an unexcused absence.
Unexcused absences – Any absence must be previously excused by speaking with your
coach and providing a parent note. (Detentions are unexcused)
Practice ends at 4:45 each day. Rides from practice MUST be here no later than 5:00!
Repeated failure to be picked up on time could result in termination from the team.
Coaches should be notified of planned absences via email.
